Information for Store Operations

Air Conditioner Disassembly Cleaning by Component

Air conditioner odors, water leaks, and poor performance can be related to the drain pan, drain pump, drain hose, sirocco fan, heat exchanger fins, outdoor unit, or other components. Even if you don’t know the component names, we can advise what to check next based on the symptoms and photos.

GUIDE / 01

Check the drain system for water leaks

Water leaks may be related to slime in the drain pan or drain hose, pump failure, drainage slope, or blockages. We’ll review the cleaning and inspection work based on where the water is coming from, when it occurs, and the history of past cleaning.

  • We inspect the drain pan, drain pump, drain hose, and drain outlet individually.
  • Grease and dust mix together around air conditioning units near the kitchen, making drainage pathways more prone to buildup.
  • We will clarify what cleaning can address and what may be better handled through repair or replacement.

GUIDE / 02

We inspect internal components to check for odors and airflow.

If the odor remains after cleaning the filter, dirt may still be present on the sirocco fan, heat exchanger fins, or drain pan. We plan the work to minimize disruption to business operations, based on the disassembly scope, number of units, and work time.

  • Mold, dust, and grease on the sirocco fan are included in the cleaning scope.
  • We check the heat exchanger fins for blockages and grease buildup.
  • We photograph the condition after the work to make the timing of the next cleaning easier to understand.

We also check the outdoor unit and its installation environment

Dust, fallen leaves, cooking fumes, or stored items around the outdoor unit may affect air-conditioning efficiency and place additional strain on the equipment. The scope of work can include checking the installation environment and obstructions to airflow, in addition to the indoor unit.

  • We check airflow, dirt, and available space around the outdoor unit.
  • Before work in high places, on rooftops, or in confined spaces, we determine in advance what needs to be checked.
  • For multiple stores, listing unit counts, model numbers, and inspection histories makes management easier.

QUESTIONS / FAQ

Questions about air conditioner disassembly cleaning by component

Which parts of the air conditioner are covered for water leak issues?

The areas covered include the drain pan, drain pump, drain hose, drain outlet, installation slope, and around the indoor unit. Air conditioning near the kitchen can accumulate grease and dust, which can lead to slime and blockages in the drainage path. We clarify what can be addressed through cleaning and what may require repair or replacement. Send us the number of locations, areas to be cleaned, and preferred work hours to request a quote.

What areas are covered if cleaning the filter alone does not remove the odor?

Cleaning may cover the sirocco fan, heat-exchanger fins, drain pan, air outlets, and mold, dust, and grease inside the indoor unit. Store air-conditioning systems tend to draw in kitchen grease and dust from customer areas, so depending on the symptoms, disassembly cleaning or checks of individual parts may be necessary. You can request a quote by sending us the number of stores, work locations, and preferred work times.

Can I request service even if I don’t know the names of the air conditioner parts?

Yes. Please tell us about symptoms such as water leaks, odors, reduced airflow, or unusual noises, and send photos of the indoor and outdoor units, model numbers, and installation locations. Even if you do not know the part name, we will clearly explain what we need to prepare a quote or arrange the work, starting with areas related to the symptoms, such as the drain, fan, fins, or outdoor unit. Send us the number of locations, areas to be serviced, and preferred working hours to request a quote.

Can the outdoor unit also be cleaned or inspected?

Yes, this can be included. We check for dust, fallen leaves, oil fumes, stored items, and obstructions to air intake or exhaust around the outdoor unit. Because advance checks may differ for rooftops, elevated locations, or confined spaces, please provide photos and the installation location in advance. Send us the number of stores, work locations, and preferred work times to request a quote.

How should we determine which symptoms can be addressed by cleaning and which require repair?

Odors and blockages caused by dirt, slime, dust, or grease may sometimes be improved through cleaning. However, faulty parts, pump problems, piping issues, and electrical system abnormalities require inspection or repair. Misesapo will clarify what can be addressed through cleaning and what requires an equipment inspection. Send us the number of stores, areas to be serviced, and preferred work times to request a quote.
