GUIDE / 01
Go beyond disinfection alone
If disinfection is performed while dirt remains, odors and bacteria may return over time. Misesapo checks areas where dirt and residue tend to accumulate, then carries out cleaning, washing, disinfection, and documentation.
- Work areas can include food preparation counters, sinks, refrigerator handles, doorknobs, switches, shelves, floors, and drains.
- We will identify high-contact areas, such as kitchens, dining areas, toilets, employee break rooms, and changing rooms.
- Photos taken before and after disinfection work help identify priority areas for future visits.

Separate emergency response from routine management
Responding to vomit or contaminated areas requires decisions about resuming business. By contrast, food poisoning and foreign object contamination prevention are easier to manage on an ongoing basis alongside routine cleaning, pest control, and organization.
- For vomit, contaminated areas, or strong odors, we first determine the response required and the steps for resuming business.
- We include often-overlooked areas in routine maintenance, such as beneath kitchen equipment, around drains, floors, along walls, and above shelves.
- We help you use this information for head-office reporting alongside HACCP, store inspections, and photo reports.
GUIDE / 03
Reduce foreign matter contamination through cleaning
Foreign matter contamination can result from multiple contributing factors, including dust, grease, deteriorated materials, pests, and storage conditions. We check which areas can be addressed through cleaning, which require repair or replacement, and which should be reviewed in day-to-day operations.
- The post-work report records dust and grease on the hood, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, above shelves, on lighting fixtures, beneath equipment, and along floor edges.
- We proceed with repairs or replacement for damaged, peeling, rusted, or deteriorated components.
- We assess layouts that are less prone to recurring problems, alongside pest management, 5S, and organization.

QUESTIONS / FAQ
Questions About Disinfection and Sanitation Cleaning
What is the difference between cleaning and disinfection?
Cleaning removes dirt, residue, grease, and dust that can contribute to bacteria and odors. Disinfection uses chemicals or other means on necessary areas after cleaning to restore hygienic conditions. Misesapo does not stop at disinfection alone; we clarify what needs to be cleaned, what needs to be disinfected, and what should be recorded.
Can you provide emergency cleaning for vomit or contaminated areas?
Yes. Based on the location and extent of the affected area, flooring material, odor, desired reopening time, and whether photos are available, we will explain the process from cleaning, disinfection, and disposal through reopening. If an infectious disease is suspected or facility rules apply, we will first clarify which tasks require specialist services and which can be handled through cleaning.
Which areas can be inspected for disinfection and sanitation cleaning?
Work can cover kitchens, dining areas, toilets, break rooms, changing rooms, door handles, switches, handrails, worktops, sinks, floors, and drainage areas. We will define the areas to be cleaned and the disinfection measures based on how often customers and staff touch them, where food is handled, and where odors or dirt remain.
Can you provide photos or records after the work?
These can be documented. We can prepare a report with before-and-after photos, the areas covered, the date of work, and areas to check next time. For multiple locations or food facilities, we tailor the level of detail to make the report easy for head office or the quality control department to review.
Can you also help prevent foreign-object contamination at food factories and central kitchens?
Yes. We address areas prone to contamination together, including floors, drains, beneath equipment, the tops of shelves, air conditioning, lighting, wall edges, and sources of pest activity. We document in a photo report what cleaning can remove, what may require repair or replacement, and what should be reviewed in day-to-day operations.
