What to Check When Comparing Store Cleaning Estimates

You’ve received a quote, but aren’t sure whether the price is high or reasonable. Even after reading it, it’s not clear exactly what work is included. In these cases, we organize the quote details and the condition of your store, then clarify them in a format that makes it easier to move forward.

Items to Compare in Store Cleaning Estimates

Even when the task name is the same, the quantity, frequency, included steps, and reporting details may differ. Do not judge by price alone; compare each provider’s quote using the same items.

If the conditions do not match, provide each company with the same assumptions and request a revised estimate. Do not decide based only on the lowest price or reduction rate; check the required work and the conditions for additional costs.

When the quote details are unclear

PDFs, photos, and screenshots are all acceptable. You may cover any information you want to keep private, such as your company name, contact person's name, or unit prices. We will organize the scope of work, frequency, hours, reporting, and conditions for additional charges, and clarify any points that are difficult to understand, one by one.

  • You may conceal any information you do not wish to disclose.
  • You can discuss the work scope using photos alone.
  • Please contact us if estimates from multiple companies are difficult to understand.

We’ll help you understand why the quote may seem high

A quote that seems high may include work that is necessary. Conversely, a quote that seems low may exclude reporting, key handling, or additional work. Before deciding based on price alone, we help you check the scope of work and the conditions for additional charges.

  • Organize the scope of work, quantities, frequency, and time of day.
  • We confirm how reports, key handling, on-site attendance, and additional charges are handled.
  • Separate urgent work from work that can be done later.

Keep the work that is needed

Cutting cleaning that is needed just to lower the price can make odors, clogs, pests, and slippery floors more likely to return. Misesapo separates the work that should be retained from what can be adjusted, and tailors the scope to your store.

  • Separate work to be done every month from work that can be handled on a one-off basis.
  • For stores that require photo reports, we include reporting in our planning.
  • For multiple stores, you can also start with a representative location.

If you want arrangements handled for you as well

If head office or stores are still handling not only estimate reviews, but also finding contractors, scheduling, post-work photos, and invoice checks, these tasks can be coordinated together as an ordering service.

  • If an existing estimate is unclear, you can hide any information you wish to keep confidential before consulting us.
  • If different contractors handle each task, we will identify which contractors to retain and which tasks to consolidate.
  • For a pre-opening estimate, you can also review the sequence for cleaning, repairs, kitchen equipment, and leftover items.

QUESTIONS / FAQ

Questions About What to Check When Comparing Store Cleaning Estimates

Can you also handle comparative quotes for multiple locations?

Yes. Before reviewing all your stores at once, you can compare a representative store or stores with more issues. It will help to have a store list, business types, locations, current vendors, services provided, and reporting format. We’ll explain which services can remain with your current vendors and which can be consolidated with Misesapo. You can request a quote by providing the number of stores, work locations, and suitable times for the work.

Can I send you a quote from another company?

Yes. You may redact any information you wish to keep private, such as company or contact names. Details about the work, quantities, frequency, time windows, reporting, and conditions for additional charges can help clarify the reasons for price differences. We will identify overlapping items and areas that can be adjusted without removing necessary work. Send us the number of locations, work areas, and preferred work times to request an estimate.

Can you offer a lower price than another company?

After reviewing the details, we may be able to adjust the arrangement while maintaining the scope and frequency of service. We cannot guarantee a discount, but we will clarify the work included in the estimate, exclusions, reporting, and work hours, and propose terms that can be sustained. We do not recommend reducing necessary work or reporting solely to lower costs. Send us the number of stores, work locations, and preferred work hours to request an estimate.

What documents are needed to compare estimates?

It helps to have the quote, service details, store list, work photos, current issues, and your preferred timing. PDFs and photos are also fine. You may hide any company names, contact names, unit prices, or other information you wish to keep confidential. Sharing the work items, quantities, frequency, time of day, and exclusions makes it easier to identify where quotes differ. Send us the number of stores, work locations, and preferred work times to request a quote.

Can food facilities with existing contractors request a quote?

Yes. We can handle work currently assigned to your existing contractor, work covered by in-house cleaning, and areas not currently being addressed, based on their condition. If you have a quote from another provider, we can compare it by reviewing the work, frequency, hours, reporting, and exclusions. Send us the number of locations, areas to be serviced, and preferred working hours to request a quote.
