SIGNS / 01
Kitchen floor issues to look out for
Kitchen floor symptoms and equipment conditions vary depending on the model, installation environment, and store operations. The following are examples to help you describe the situation when seeking advice. If there is a hazard, prioritize your store or facility's safety procedures over work or taking photos.
The floor is slippery
Record where and when slipping occurs, whether water or oil is present, and the condition of the flooring. For hazardous areas, follow your store’s procedures and prioritize notifying staff and restricting access.
Dark stains and an oily film remain
We check how often routine cleaning is done, which detergents are used, where equipment is positioned, and where grease accumulates. Chemicals or cleaning methods that are unsuitable for the flooring may cause discoloration or deterioration.
Odors and slime around drainage channels
The condition and flow of drainage may also be affected by dirt in the drains, grates, and drainage routes, not just on the floor. We check the scope for each piece of equipment.
BEFORE CONSULTATION / 02
Please provide whatever information you can before your consultation.
For kitchen floor cleaning, please share whatever you know about the floor material, area to be cleaned, and whether fixtures can be moved. If an on-site inspection or additional information is needed, we will ask about the situation before advising you.
- Flooring material, area, and whether fixtures can be moved
- Locations with significant slipping or oil buildup, and when it occurs
- Routine Cleaning: Detergents, Methods, and Frequency
- Cracks, peeling, or uneven areas in drainage channels or floor materials
Cleaning away dirt is separate from repairs for floor material deterioration or damage. Before work begins, confirm that the detergents and equipment are suitable, the drying time, and the conditions for resuming business.
We will advise you on whether work on kitchen floors is possible, the method, schedule, and cost after checking the equipment's condition and the requirements of the store, region, contract, and facility.
QUESTIONS / 03
Frequently Asked Questions
If the floor is slippery, will cleaning always resolve the problem?
This depends on the cause and the condition of the flooring, and cleaning alone may not improve it. First make the hazardous area safe, then determine whether the cause is oil, detergent residue, flooring deterioration, or something else.
What information should I provide for an estimate?
Please share what you know about the flooring material, area, locations of slipping or soiling, routine cleaning methods, whether fixtures can be moved, and preferred work times.
